Bahrain\u2019s traditional healing culture includes Islamic prophetic medicine (<\/span>Tibb an-Nabawi<\/span><\/i>), herbalism, massage and cupping therapy (<\/span>hijama<\/span><\/i>), which continue to be used alongside modern health services. Traditional knowledge has been preserved within family lineages and spiritual communities, particularly among older generations.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ministry of Health regulates the practise of complementary therapies, including acupuncture, chiropractic care and cupping, through formal licensing. Traditional healers and herbalists are not fully integrated into national health policy but are recognized within wellness and preventive health
