In the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Traditional Medicine is practised widely across its Indigenous nations, <\/span>Afro-descendant<\/span> communities and rural populations. Indigenous healing systems \u2013 among the Wayuu, Warao, Pemon and others \u2013 employ plant-based medicine, ritual cleansing, spiritual communication and Indigenous diagnostics. <\/span>Afro-Venezuelan and mestizo communities<\/span> also maintain strong herbalist and midwifery traditions.<\/span><\/p>\n
