Guaran\u00ed healers \u2013 <\/span>paj\u00e9s<\/span><\/i> or <\/span>mburuvich\u00e1s<\/span><\/i> \u2013 use herbal infusions, smoke-based cleansing and spiritual guidance. Traditional birth attendants and family caregivers are widely trusted in community health care.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare formally recognizes Traditional Medicine in its public health strategy and has created intercultural health programmes in coordination with Indigenous organizations. Some health posts offer dual-language and culturally adapted services, especially in eastern and Chaco regions with large Indigenous
