Grenada\u2019s Traditional Medicine systems reflect African, Indigenous and European influences, shaped through the island\u2019s Creole identity. Herbalists, bush doctors and elder midwives commonly use teas, baths, oils and poultices made from local plants for treating everyday ailments, spiritual imbalance and chronic conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n

While Grenada does not yet have a formal national policy on Traditional Medicine, the Ministry of Health, Wellness & Religious Affairs has supported public awareness campaigns and collaborative documentation of medicinal plants. Traditional practices are still valued in rural areas and are increasingly incorporated into health tourism and wellness
