Argentina\u2019s Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine landscape is shaped by Indigenous knowledge systems such as those of the Mapuche, Qom, Wich\u00ed and Guaran\u00ed peoples \u2013 as well as complementary practices like homeopathy, acupuncture and herbalism. Traditional Medicine remains especially significant in rural Indigenous communities and is gaining wider recognition in intercultural health programmes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ministry of Health supports intercultural health through the Programa Nacional de Salud Intercultural, focused on the rights and recognition of Indigenous health systems. In some provinces, traditional midwives and healers are integrated into maternal and primary care models. Legal and ethical frameworks for protecting ancestral knowledge are also under
