This section will soon contain information on traditional medicine practitioners (traditional doctors, ancestral physicians, ancestral knowledge holders, health promoters, health agents, traditional medicine agents, specialists, according to the names used in the Americas by indigenous, Afro-descendant, Roma and other ethnic peoples), their various specialities and methods of diagnosis, treatment, care, maintenance and prevention of health and disease; as well as the therapeutic resources and inputs they use for the treatment of diseases, including the use of medicinal plants, animals, minerals, rites, ceremonies, diets, songs, beverages, etc., together with the elaboration of natural medicines through the processing and transformation of medicinal plants, up to and including their industrialisation and marketing.
