Zimbabwe\u2019s Traditional Medicine systems reflect a strong cultural heritage across Shona, Ndebele and other ethnic groups. Traditional healers \u2013 <\/span>n\u2019anga<\/span><\/i> \u2013 provide herbal medicine, spiritual diagnosis, ancestral consultation and mental health care. These systems are deeply respected and remain widely accessed, especially in contexts where biomedical services are limited or culturally misaligned.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Ministry of Health and Child Care\u00a0supports Traditional Medicine integration through the\u00a0Zimbabwe National Traditional Medicine Policy\u00a0and oversight from the Traditional Medical Practitioners Council. Healers are formally registered and collaborate with biomedical staff in areas such as maternal health, mental health and chronic disease
