Local healers, diviners and midwives remain essential care providers across the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Traditional Medicine is acknowledged by the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, with increasing interest in formalizing its contribution to primary health care. While a full national policy is still in progress, regional collaborations and pilot studies have informed ongoing efforts to regulate practices and recognize healers within local health
