These practices are commonly used alongside biomedicine and are particularly prevalent on rural islands.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ministry of Health in the Comoros has expressed interest in documenting and preserving Traditional Medicine, although a formal national policy is still under development. Community health services often rely on traditional birth attendants and elders with specialized knowledge, especially in maternal health, digestive disorders and culturally interpreted
