In the Central African Republic, Traditional Medicine remains a primary source of health care for much of the population, especially in rural areas. Healing systems are shaped by ancestral Bantu and central Sudanic traditions and include herbal therapies, spiritual rituals, divination and community-based care. Knowledge is typically passed through generations by healers, elders and spiritual leaders who hold respected positions in their communities.<\/span><\/p>\n

While national frameworks to fully regulate Traditional Medicine are still emerging, the Ministry of Health and Population has recognized its importance and is working towards better documentation and integration. Traditional practitioners play a key role in maternal and child health, mental well-being and culturally adapted healing responses in areas where biomedical services are limited or
