Traditional healers (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dingaka<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) employ herbal remedies, spiritual healing and divination to treat a range of ailments. These practices remain prevalent, particularly in rural communities where they serve as accessible and culturally resonant health care options.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Botswana government has taken steps to integrate Traditional Medicine into the national health framework. The Ministry of Health and Wellness has initiated policies aimed at recognizing and regulating traditional practitioners, promoting research into traditional remedies and encouraging collaboration between traditional and biomedical health care providers. Training programmes and workshops have been organized to enhance the skills of traditional healers and ensure the safe use of Traditional
